2024 U.S. Junior Championship Overview
The 2024 U.S. Junior Chess Championship will showcase the brightest young talents in American chess. These exceptional players have emerged from the highly competitive scholastic chess scene and are now among the top U.S. players under 20 years old. Fans can look forward to thrilling matches, filled with innovative strategies and imaginative play from these aspiring champions. In addition to the prize fund, the first-place winner will receive a $10,000 scholarship, generously funded by the Dewain Barber Foundation and US Chess, to be used at the institution of their choice.
