HOME OF U.S. CHAMPIONSHIP CHESS & THE COUNTRY’S TOP PLAYERS

2022 U.S. Women’s Championship

The 2022 U.S. Women’s Championship will return as an elite over-the-board national championship event, featuring 14 of the strongest female chess players in America. Over the course of 13 rounds, these
competitors will battle for $154,000 in prize money and the coveted title of 2022 U.S. Women’s
Champion.

Tuesday, October 4th will kick off the chess festivities with the Public Opening Ceremony for the 2022 U.S. Chess and U.S. Women’s Chess Championships and will conclude with a Public Closing Cermeony on Thursday, October 20th.

Fans can watch the rounds daily at 1:00pm online at uschesschamps.com.

In addition, the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis will sponsor the “$64,000 Fischer Bonus Prize”. Any player that finishes the U.S. Championships field with a perfect 13-0 score shall be awarded an additional $64,000.
