Hans Niemann is an American chess Grandmaster. He achieved his Grandmaster title in 2021 at the age of 17. Being a child prodigy, he has won numerous scholastic tournaments including 2016 North American Youth Championship U18, 2017 SuperNationals VI first place in K-8 section, and 2018 National K-12 Blitz Champion. His recent achievements include 2021 World Open winner, 2021 U.S. Junior Champion, and 2021 U.S. Open second place.
