2023 U.S. Girls' Junior Championship
The 2023 U.S. Girls' Junior Chess Championship will feature the best young girls of American chess. These young players represent the future of U.S. women's chess, and will compete against each other to see who's the best female players under the age of 20. With a national title and $20,600 up for grabs, fans can expect thrilling gameplay that showcases player's chess genius. In addition to the prize fund, the sole first place winner of the Girls' Junior Championship will be awarded a $10,000 scholarship to be used at the institution of their choice. The scholarship is generously jointly funded by the Dewain Barber Foundation and US Chess.
